Authentically giving thanks feels good, it motivates and inspires. When life doesn't go as planned; an event occurs - such as a pandemic, we can become overwhelmed with worries or concerns. Bringing our focus to gratefulness can lessen the burden, create a happier you.

Avoid filling your time with tasks and perpetually being in 'go-mode'. Instead, slow down; reflect on appreciation of your life; feel your heart soften; notice how introspection provides comfort.

As you read this, take a few moments and press the pause button on life. Gently close your eyes; take a deep inhale, then slowly exhale. Repeat the process a few times. Open your eyes. Write down the things you're grateful for; your blessings; whatever bubbles to the surface - just jot it down.

Now go about your day feeling lighter, rejuvenated by the simple act of gratitude. xoxo
